Rain: Sub Hourly

Definition: Record of the amount of precipitation within a given period. This data is taken from the RAIN_RATE table.

This datatype enables the selection of rain for sub-hourly periods in a sub-menu. The periods are (minutes): 30, 20, 15, 12, 10, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2.

Care should be taken by the user to include minutes in the date/time format.

This procedure is processor intensive and can produce a lot of data.

Field Descriptions

AMOUNT: The amount of rainfall for the given period in mm.

PERIOD: The period over which the amount is measured. The displayed periods are (minutes): 30min = 0.5000hrs, 20 min = 0.3333hrs, 15min = 0.2500hrs, 12min = 0.2000, 10min = 0.1667hrs, 6min = 0.1000hrs, 5min = 0.0833hrs, 4min = 0.0667hrs, 3min = 0.0500hrs, 2min = 0.0333hrs.

FREQUENCY: "V" for variable.
