Screen Observations

Definition: A group comprising dry_bulb temperature and humidity measurements which have been measured in a standard screen. Where readings have been measured by a "Clitel" data logger (source "Clitel") they are a mean over the one minute preceeding the time of observation.

The datatype has three choices:

• Daily Air Temperature (metcode=191)
• Hourly Air Temperature (metcode=193)
• Three hourly Air Temperature (metcode=192)

Notes

• Each of the above options output the following (see Screen Observations: Details):
  
  • Temperature Dry Bulb (deg C)
  • Temperature Wet Bulb (deg C)
  • Relative Humidity (percent)
  • Temperature Dew point (deg C)


• These are instantaneous (over one minute preceeding the hour) readings. For mean, max min temperature see: Max Min Mean Temperature.
